Morgan and Wong - the Creators

The Wongs
Well, these two gentlemen are the reason this web-site is here really. Without their creativity and twisted genius "Space: Above and Beyond" would never have come about.

21 Jump Street Logo They haven't only done S:AaB though. Before that they worked on such shows as "21 Jump Street" and early "X Files". In fact - imho, the Wongs (as they tend to be collectively known) were responsible in some way for all of the best "X-Files" episodes around.
A stint on Chris Carter's other baby "Millennium" came after S:AaB was cancelled, and then Glen and Jim made a couple of pilots for shows that unfortunately weren't picked up.

After Fox decided for whatever stupid reasons that they weren't going to make use of the wonderful talent these gentlemen displayed, the Wongs worked on "The Others" for NBC. This was a supernatural drama about a group of people exploring their talents and trying to help other people come to terms with other worldly phenomena that unfortunately again, lasted only one season.
(I find myself asking what's wrong with TV Execs that they don't want intelligent, thought-provoking shows. Then I remember that a huge majority of viewers stay glued to so-called 'Reality TV' over anything else. What hope is there?)

Film Poster Seemingly never detterred however, these two outstandingly creative people went on to make movies.
The first one was entitled "Final Destination" and came out in 2000. It is now available on DVD and is a highly enjoyable (though I'm not sure that's the right word) teen horror.

Currently on general release is "The One" a sci-fi action movie starring Jet Li.

I find the best place for insights and information about these two brilliant men is Morgan and Wong Online. Here you can find articles, reviews and more that covers the whole panoply of their work to date.
